Our Pastor

Welcome to The Sanctuary Church! Our lead pastor, Eric Madden, is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ with a bold vision for discipleship and revival. With a heart that beats for making authentic disciples and a desire to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel, Pastor Eric leads with an intensity that reflects his love for God and people.

Pastor Eric is married to his wonderful wife, Whitney, and he is the dad of five. His family is at the core of his ministry, and he’s committed to leading them—and the church—by example in faith, love, and service.

In addition to his role as pastor, Eric is also an accomplished author and songwriter. He has written two powerful books: The War of Revival and Gifted, which challenge believers to discover and activate their spiritual gifts. His music, like his preaching, reflects his raw, real, and intense style, bringing worship and revival into every aspect of life.

Outside of ministry, Pastor Eric enjoys spending time outdoors. He loves hiking, fishing, hunting, and embracing the beauty of nature. A passionate sports fan, he’s a die-hard supporter of Alabama football and the Atlanta Braves baseball team.

Whether through preaching, writing, or personal discipleship, Pastor Eric’s mission remains clear: to see every person step into their God-given purpose and live out their faith with boldness and authenticity.
